Portfolio: Careem Mobility / Ride-Hailing Platform
The Careem Mobility platform was the core ride-hailing system responsible for connecting customers with Captains, processing ride requests, managing trip lifecycles and coordinating location and pricing information across the platform. The project involved building and maintaining backend services that handled high-volume ride requests and continuously changing trip states. The system needed to coordinate customer requests, Captain availability, matching, trip status, location updates, cancellations, pricing and notifications while remaining reliable under variable demand.
