Role and Responsibilities:

As an Area Sales Manager, reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Scotland through managing existing accounts and developing new business.

You will:

  • Grow sales year on year within your region
  • Manage and develop local and national customer accounts
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline and report on performance
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver a high level of customer service
  • Represent Hydraquip professionally with customers and at industry events

What we’re looking for

Essential experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a field-based sales or account management role
  • Proven ability to grow accounts and win new business
  • Experience managing multiple customer accounts
  • Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to work independently

Desirable experience

  • Experience in engineering, industrial, hydraulics, MHE, or technical sales
  • Knowledge of the Scottish market
  • Experience selling solutions or service-based products
