We’re working with a lovely professional couple in Hamburg who are looking for an experienced live-in Housekeeper to support them while their main property is being renovated. You’ll look after a beautiful two-bedroom townhouse, keeping everything in tip-top condition with excellent attention to detail. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who loves looking after a home, knows how to care for delicate materials, and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Daily housekeeping and care of delicate fabrics, luxury garments, and fine materials
• Wardrobe and storage organisation
• Laundry management, including hand-washing, ironing, steaming, and minor repairs
• Grocery shopping and household provisioning
• Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen and occasional preparing healthy meals for two
• Coordinating deliveries, contractors, and general household upkeep
• Driving to run errands and assisting with general household coordination
Requirements
• You must hold a valid EU passport and full driving licence.
• You must be available to start asap and commit to the role until December 2026.
• Have experience within housekeeping in a similar high-end private household setting.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Discreet, presentable, emotionally intelligent, and confident working independently.
• Flexibility is essential. The housekeeper is required to work longer hours when the clients are in residence, with quieter periods when they are away.
Start: ASAP until December 2026 (with possible extension)
Working hours: You’ll work six days a week when the client is in residence, with one day off. When the client travels in the summer, it will be quieter and working hours will be reduced.
