Financial Services Regulation Associate (4-6 PQE)
The firm is looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Associate with 4-6 years' PQE to play a key role in advising on financial services regulation, compliance and regulatory investigations within a fast growing international practice.
The Firm
The Financial Services Regulation Associate will join a well established international law firm with a strong presence across the Middle East, Europe and Asia. The firm is recognised for advising major financial institutions, asset managers, banks and investment firms on complex regulatory matters.
The Dubai office acts as a key regional hub for financial services work, supporting clients across the UAE and wider Middle East on regulatory compliance, licensing and governance matters.

This is a full time position based in the firm's Dubai office.
The Role
The Financial Services Regulation team advises financial institutions on a wide range of regulatory matters including licensing, compliance frameworks and regulatory investigations.
The successful Associate will play an important role advising clients on complex regulatory issues across the financial services sector.
The role will include:

Advising financial institutions on regulatory frameworks across the UAE and wider Middle East

Supporting clients with licensing applications and regulatory approvals

Advising on ongoing regulatory compliance and governance matters

Assisting clients with regulatory investigations and enforcement matters

Drafting regulatory submissions, policies and internal compliance documentation

Liaising with regulatory authorities including the DFSA and ADGM
-
Working closely with colleagues across international offices on cross border matters
The Financial Services Regulation Associate
You will be a motivated and technically strong lawyer looking to develop your career within an international financial regulatory practice.
The Financial Services Regulation Associate will have:

4-6 years' PQE in financial services regulation

Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales

Experience advising financial institutions on regulatory compliance and governance

Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks

Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
-
Ability to manage complex matters within a fast paced international environment
Experience gained at a leading UK or international law firm is preferred.
