Process Engineer

Our client BAE Systems, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their team in Glascoed on a contract basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within the Land Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing process engineering activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
• Developing and optimising processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success within the Defence & Security sector
• Providing technical guidance and support to ensure project deliverables are met
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
• Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in process engineering
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations

Job Requirements:

• Core expertise in Process Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the Defence & Security sector would be beneficial but not essential
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in preparing and presenting technical reports
• Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation processes
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
